What Is Science Fiction?
Science fiction is one of the most popular fiction genres.
When reading science fiction, you usually find yourself in a future based on imagined scientific or technological advances and major social or environmental changes, frequently portraying space or time travel and life on other planets. If you love science and space and social commentary, then science fiction is your cup of tea.
One thing that I love about science fiction that it shares with fantasy is its use of distortions. Elements are exaggerated to make aspects of the human condition more clear. I love that!
